Trader FAQ’s

🌟 Stall Expectations

We take pride in creating beautiful, high-quality markets β€” and your stall presentation plays a big part in that.

All stalls must:

  • Have a tablecloth that fully covers the table

  • Cover the front of the table to hide any storage underneath

  • Keep any stock boxes or personal items completely out of sight

Stretch tablecloths work really well (the fitted style helps keep things looking smart and secure in all weather). These are a popular option:

Our event managers will check stall presentation on the day and may offer guidance or feedback. Please don’t take this personally β€” between us we have over 30 years’ market experience and genuinely want every trader to look professional and succeed.

πŸ“ Stall Sizes

General Stall:
Allocated either:

  • 3m x 1.5m (shared 3m x 3m gazebo back-to-back), or

  • 2m x 2m gazebo
    Includes a 6ft x 2ft table.

Own Gazebo:
Allocated a 3m x 3m space.

Hot Food / Coffee / Dessert / Ice Cream:

If you wish to bring your own infrastructure for catering, you must email us prior to the event for approval.

πŸͺ‘ Are Tables & Chairs Provided?

  • A 6ft x 2ft table is provided for all general stalls (not own gazebo).

  • Chairs are not provided. Most traders prefer to stand and engage with customers, but you are welcome to bring your own.

🧡 Do I Need My Own Table Cover?

Yes. We do not provide tablecloths.

Your table covering must:

  • Cover the entire table

  • Hide the front fully

  • Conceal all storage underneath

βž• Can I Bring an Additional Table?

Yes β€” as long as:

  • It stays within your allocated space

  • It does not obstruct neighbouring traders

A 4ft folding table usually works well.
Additional 6ft tables will not be permitted as this exceeds standard pitch space.

⚑ Electricity

We do not provide electricity and generators are not permitted.

Hot food and coffee traders should operate via gas where required.

⚠️ Please note: No power is provided at any event.

πŸ‘₯ How Many People Can Be On a Stall?

For general stalls (shared gazebos), ideally one person due to space limitations.

If two people are present, please remain mindful of your allocated area and neighbouring traders.

πŸ› My Category Is Full β€” Can I Still Book?

If your category is showing as full, please email us.

We carefully balance categories and may consider individual cases depending on current bookings. Please do not book regardless, as duplicate bookings may be cancelled.

❌ Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel:

  • For monthly markets, notice must be given by 4pm on the Monday prior to receive credit/refund.

  • Christmas markets operate under a different cancellation period (outlined at booking).

πŸ“ When Will I Know My Position?

  • Monday prior: Set-up details (address, parking, timings, etc.)

  • Friday prior: Layout showing your pitch position

If you do not receive this information, please contact us during office hours to ensure your booking details are correct.
