Another Knitted Thing is an independent, female lead micro-knit studio based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Run by Victoria Salmon, bright bold and colourful knits are created by hand and machine, finished individually, and sent off on their way to loving new homes. Find knits are are not stereotypical, but more three-dimensional, interactive and playful.

She Whittles

From furniture to children's items, all of my items are fully handmade. Every design, pattern and detail are thought out and planned by myself. My products range from furniture to decorative items for home, to custom-made items for children's bedrooms or simple things that make the space pop. Whenever it is possible, I use reclaimed wood that I sand and prepare with care, to then decorate with designs or patterns that inspire me in that moment. It can be spiritual based, nature or just a custom-made print for a child's room. Some of my creations are key holders, clothing hangers, decorative pieces and kids' measuring boards. Part of my products are ready to buy, however if there is something that you would like to create I take orders to be custom-made.

I’d find a piece I absolutely loved, only for it to turn my skin green or go rusty after a few wears, or I would find myself wishing a certain pendant had a different chain or wishing I could add or remove elements, and that's when I started to customise and build pieces myself... About a year ago when my jewellery obsession was at an all time high, I fell down a rabbit hole and discovered waterproof, tarnish-free, stainless steel jewellery. I realised I didn't just want to just wear these pieces; I wanted to build my own individual collection and share the feeling that jewellery gave me with other people.
