ArtHouse

ArtHouse is a co-venture between artists Jen Mellish and Amelia Bell-Bentley, who began creating alongside one another after meeting in a shared house in Salford in January 2020. While they collaborate under this shared name, each produces a distinct and individual body of work. Their practices are united by vibrant, expressive styles shaped by their experiences of life in Manchester and the people and places around them. More recently, Amelia’s sister Rowan has joined the collaboration, contributing work inspired by her connection to nature and time spent foraging. Their work has been exhibited at galleries including The Lowry and Colin Jellicoe’s Gallery in Manchester, most recently at Platform One Gallery in Todmorden as part of the Mind the Gap exhibition, which explored transitional moments in our lives.
