I’m the founder of Widnall Bakery. I was on bake off the professionals 2019. I launched my business in August in 2024, and have since been successful at various markets, selling sourdoughs, breads, cakes and specialising in patisserie, particularly the cruffin; we often do markets that only want our patisserie part due to other businesses trading there. We do everything from home, and we have received a 5 * hygiene rating and our cruffins are being very well received indeed, as there is nothing like what we do around here. I’m still finding my feet in other areas than markets, and seeing as I’m local, I’d love to become more established within Oswestry, Shrewsbury and its surrounding areas.
