Urban Spirit began long before the first bottle was ever made. In December 2016, Liz and Pawel met for the first time at their work Christmas party. What started as a night of dancing and laughing quickly revealed a shared love for vodka – the beginning of a connection neither of them expected. A week later, they headed out on their first date in the heart of Manchester. Pawel arrived with a homemade bottle of Peach and Mint moonshine, and Liz knew instantly she’d found someone special.
From that moment on, vodka became part of their story. Their passion only grew. There was the unforgettable, boozy weekend in Warsaw with the “Poland 8,” tasting the city’s finest flavoured vodkas. Then came the vodka-tasting sessions in preparation for their wedding, where they discovered the meaning and importance of vodka in Polish celebrations and traditions.
For years, they talked about creating something of their own – something that honoured their roots, their relationship and the spirit that brought them together.
Eventually they took the leap, secured their licence and turned their dream into reality.Urban Spirit was born: a brand inspired by a Manchester first date, shaped by Polish tradition and fuelled by their shared love for high-quality vodka.
