Hi, my name is Stacy, and I am the creator and potter behind Urban Meadows Pottery.
All my work is hand crafted in my garden studio in South Manchester, where I find constant inspiration in the natural world. This has motivated me to design a range of plant-specific planters and vases that help bring the calming essence of nature indoors.
Each piece is made from stoneware clay which has been hand thrown on a pottery wheel, glazed by hand, and then fired in my small, energy-efficient kiln. I’m passionate about keeping my practice as eco-friendly as possible, which means recycling clay, conserving water, and making small batches with care and intention.
Before working in ceramics, I was a local primary school teacher. Teaching is still close to my heart, and so alongside making, I also enjoy running pottery workshops. I love having the opportunity to share my pottery skills with others.
