I’m Tamzin, and I run Art workshops as well as a design and stationery business from my garden studio in the city of Chester.
I have a degree in Fine Art from the Ruskin, Oxford University and have over 25 years experience teaching as a qualified art teacher and head of department within Cheshire Secondary schools.
My designs are inspired by my experience of growing up in Africa and the Middle East. I am drawn to the unusual, cultural and the historical and I love the oddities, charm and quirks of things not being completely ‘perfect’. My motivation has always been to produce work that I would want for myself – bold, striking and original. I have a love of colour and am definitely more maximalist than minimalist!
