I have crafted all my life and always had a love of fabric. In the past, I have taught dressmaking to young people and had three ladies and their guide dogs in one of my classes.
still teach craft now and studied City & Guilds Textiles (level 1 & 2)in 2022. I learned the basics of free-motion embroidery through my Textiles course, and when I received a distinction for both levels, I thought I was ready, so I took free-motion embroidery up to another level, creating little pictures just using thread. I create a range of goodies that include little fabric-covered books, embroidered pictures, prints, and greeting cards. I love meeting people at fairs so I can answer their questions about how I create my work.
