In 2024, after buying my first home and navigating life after divorce, I turned to baking as a way to calm my mind and feed my soul. What started as a quiet ritual quickly became a passion—mixing, folding, and patiently waiting as each loaf came to life.
For me, sourdough isn’t just bread. It’s a reminder that good things take time, that patience creates beauty, and that sharing food is one of the simplest ways to bring people together.
Every loaf is handmade in Chester using traditional sourdough methods—no shortcuts, no additives, just time, care, and quality local ingredients. Each bake is crafted to order so you get bread that’s fresh, flavoursome, and filled with heart.
The name Sunsets & Sourdough comes from two of the things that ground me most: the golden calm of an evening sky and the simple joy of bread, warm from the oven. My hope is that every slice brings a little comfort, connection, and nourishment into your home—just as it has into mine.
