Hey, I’m Lucy, although I’m sometimes known as Lu. I’m a one-woman creative business based in Macclesfield, Cheshire, bringing together my passions for floristry, art, photography and woodwork. Although these are four different creative strands, they naturally overlap and complement one another. Sustainability is at the heart of my floristry, where I avoid plastics and floral foam and create my own wooden structures as an alternative. My woodwork also includes bespoke birdhouses, planters and crates, many of which are made from reclaimed wood and hand painted. My photography focuses on black and white landscapes of Macclesfield and the surrounding Cheshire countryside, which I sell as prints. I love capturing the character and beauty of the area I call home and am passionate about supporting and contributing to my local community. Everything I create is designed and made by me, with each piece allowing me to bring my ideas to life in a different medium. Across all aspects of my work, I aim to work as harmoniously with nature as possible, creating thoughtful, handmade pieces that I hope bring a little joy to the people who discover them.
