The origin of Shrooms for Rooms stems from a deep appreciation for the natural world and a desire to bring its unique, characterful magic indoors. Inspired by the fascinating variety of mushrooms found in the wild, Dan recognised that nature’s own classification systems and artful, hand-crafted detail could be translated into something special for everyday spaces like desks and bookshelves. By combining family traditions of art and craft with an obsession for taxonomy and classification, the project evolved into a blend of science and art.
