Local artist and screen printer, making a point of hand screen printing wall art rather than clicking “print” and letting a machine do the rest. The same applies to T-shirts and greetings cards, with more items planned, whether they’re needed or not. My work has been stocked by a number of independent art retailers and galleries in London, including the Barbican Centre, Print Club London, Inky Fingers and ATOM Gallery, which suggests someone thinks it’s worth looking at.

About

I used to be a desk-bound graphic designer, which involved a lot of sitting still and questioning things. I took up screen printing so I could actually touch the things I make. The upside is that it guarantees properly made T-shirts and wall art; the downside is that I now have ink under my fingernails.

All items are designed and screen-printed by me. There are no third parties, no automation, and no magic printing machines quietly doing the work while I take the credit. If something’s gone wrong, it’s definitely my fault.

Most of the work is inspired by indie music and pop culture, with a bit of political sentiment and humour thrown in — because it seemed pointless not to. I print both limited and open edition screen prints, mainly because not everything should be rare, but some things probably should.
