Sacred Spaces | Upholstery & Design is an independent, artisan, female-owned upholstery studio based in Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester.
I restore and reimagine furniture using modern upholstery techniques and traditional chair caning, giving well-loved pieces a new life through thoughtful craftsmanship and carefully selected fabrics. My work focuses on creating beautiful, functional objects while making environmentally conscious choices whenever possible.
Through texture, colour and materials, I aim to create pieces that bring warmth and beauty into the home, and help shape spaces that invite rest, presence and connection.
At the market, I present a selection of my handcrafted items, such as one-of-a-kind chairs, footstools, cushions and other textile pieces – all made by hand with care and intention in my Chorlton studio.
