Primrose Crafts is made up of the combined creative efforts of Becca and Margaret, a mother and daughter from Congleton in Cheshire.
Margaret, a retired patent secretary who once worked for the man who invented DNA and later on taught swimming to the adults and children of Congleton, learned to knit and sew from both grandmothers and her mother from a very young age. Margaret specialises in textile crafts and makes beautiful and high quality hats, headbands, scarves, snoods, gloves, wrist warmers, bags, hair accessories and even dog bandanas and dog jumpers using her skills and experience in these mediums.
Becca, a secondary English teacher, has a degree in Fine Art and English Literature in addition to an MA in Nineteenth-Century Literature and Culture from the University of Chester and has always explored various creative mediums such as painting, silversmithing, needle felting and resin. Becca creates unique, high quality jewellery and other items using a variety of materials and her own original art work combined with resin, using her literary and artistic knowledge to find what works, stands out and appeals to people from all walks of life. In addition to this, Becca also uses pure wool to create interesting needle felted creations which always make people smile.
