The Guide Dogs ‘Sponsor a Puppy’ scheme follows a puppy as they train to become a life-changing companion for someone with sight loss. You can choose to sponsor a puppy for yourself, or alternatively you can sponsor a puppy as a gift for a loved one. You’ll follow your sponsored puppy every step of the way as it gradually learns the many skills needed to become a guide dog, from basic commands such as ‘sit’ and ‘stay’, to avoiding obstacles and guiding someone confidently along busy streets.
