Hi, I am Amy – the person behind Patkai Art.
I am a multidisciplinary artist from Liverpool.
I work with various materials, two favourites being eco-friendly Jesmonite and wood.
All of my Jesmonite pieces are handcrafted with care, making each one absolutely unique. Some of my favourite Jesmonite pieces being candle holders, trinket dishes and bowls.
My wooden pieces are all one of a kind as I burn my designs into the wood by hand, a technique called pyrography. The type of wooden pieces you can expect to find are wooden cheeseboards, platter trays, and coasters.
All the greeting card designs are my own, and I often have a selection for various occasions available at each Makers Market I attend. As my pieces make great gifts, I love to have cards available to accompany them.
My work is abstract, modern and when colour is involved often bold.
