I am Matt Mak, originally from Hong Kong and now based in the United Kingdom.
I have been engaged in artistic creation for over twenty years, with a deep passion for both Eastern and Western contemporary art. Throughout the years, I have continuously participated in exhibitions and actively promoted art and culture.
Art markets provide a wonderful platform for me to introduce my work to diverse audiences, allowing more people to experience and appreciate this cross-cultural aesthetic. I hope that through art, more people can discover the beauty of Eastern philosophy and aesthetics, and enjoy the joy and strength that creativity brings.
About
I am an artist and art educator. For many years, I have balanced both creation and teaching, exploring ways to combine the spirit of Chinese aesthetics with Western painting techniques, gradually developing my own unique style.
Now settled in the UK, I hope to share this fusion of East and West with a wider community. My works mainly include acrylic paintings and small sculptures. At art markets, I often give live painting demonstrations, interact directly with the public, and welcome collectors to connect with and take home my artwork.
