I set up my business as a new mum and being inspired by my little boy and wanting to fill his nursery with beautiful things. I make a vast range of felt banners and pennants for children’s rooms and nurseries. My banners feature phrases such as ‘you are loved’ and ‘hello world’ all the felt letters are hand cut out by me and then sewn onto the backing felt. They are then cut and a wooden dowel is threaded through and nylon thread is attached. I make my felt pennants in a range of colour combinations to suit most decor. I similarly make mini felt flags that can be threaded to spell out words these have letters appliqué embroidered on them. I use a range of different fabrics for the letters from floral liberty fabric to safari prints.
My banners also feature animals and characters well known to children made in both felt and embroidered onto the fabric.
I also make a range of baby, toddler and adult embroidered clothes. I source sustainable sweatshirts from a brand called larkwood that uses recycled polyester. I have a number of different designs but my most popular are personalised name jumpers. I design the letters in different characters such as Woody and Buzz from Toy Story, Mickey and Minnie Mouse and Superhero characters to accommodate a range of ages and likes. I then design the name and embroider them on the jumper. As part of my offering I send a mock up of the names to the purchaser to show the letters in a different combination of characters. This allows the customer to be completely involved in the design process and get a sweatshirt that is 100% their vision.
I have just launched into bag tags and key rings again all designed and embroidered by me! These are incredibly popular as they are little faux leather keyrings featuring some of my favourite characters from film and tv.
My products are competitively priced with a customised children’s sweatshirt costing £20 in an array of colours. I also have beautifully handmade items starting at £3 for a liberty flag appliqué flag. Meaning I suit all budgets. I would love the opportunity to display my products at the makers market as I am a keen visitor myself.

The children’s sweatshirts are sustainably sourced from a brand called Larkwood that uses sustainable recycled polyester. These are bought from a small UK business. All my products are made at home by myself on a professional embroidery machine. Where possible I try to support local businesses and reduce waste as much as possible by incorporating offcuts into other products. I have changed supplier several times to find a sweatshirt that washes and wears well with my 3 year old boy being my tester.
