Hi there, my name is Linh 🙂
I was born in Vietnam and grew up between Singapore and the UK. I started painting since the age of 2, and was so fortunate that my parents encouraged me and nurtured my interest in art throughout my childhood. I have a Diploma in Art & Design, as well as a Ba in Illustration & Visual Communication from the University of Westminster. Although I was taught most mixed media practices, my one true love is traditional oil painting, which I trained in my whole life.
Since I graduated, I began working in art galleries across Chelsea and Mayfair in London as an art dealer, so I have thorough knowledge of how the industry works. After gaining vast experience in the field over several dedicated years, we recently moved from London to Liverpool, and I am currently pregnant with our first baby!
During this time, I’ve found myself reconnecting to my roots, and have been building a portfolio of original paintings, whilst also undertaking commissions. After years of selling other artists’ works, I am now finally taking the plunge to sell my own work after 20 years of art school.
My artworks are a mixture of botanicals, still life, abstract, and figurative works, so there is something for everyone. I feature both original paintings and prints in various sizes and price range. With a deep appreciation for art history, I aim to honour the Old Masters by utilising classic techniques through my modern hands and lenses. I hope that my love for the arts will inspire you, too.
I currently also accept commissions for my Pet Portrait and ‘The Memory Project’ templates, which I’d be happy to provide further information upon discussion.
