Jikibode was founded by Claire in 2022. Jikibode means ‘honest lifestyle’. Taken from the Japanese word for honesty, ‘shoujiki’, it reminds Claire of her time living in Japan and travelling around south east Asia, and the south pacific. Her dream was to design, make, and source sustainable accessories that represent a sunshine state of mind: to be strong, radiant, confident and authentic. Characteristics that Jikibode aims to maintain throughout.
Sustainability is at the heart of what Jikibode represents and our eco range of sunglasses, handmade, and recycled jewellery, means Jikibode can play it’s part in offering post consumer products to our amazing customers.
