Like many others, during lockdown my creativity new no bounds. I started playing with resin and it just developed from there, particularly the balloon dogs, which I love making. I decorated glasswear, made resin jewellery and items, played around with lighting for them and finally invested in a laser machine for glass globes.
My husband who can sew better than me, bought me a silk sconcho (a scarf that can also be a poncho) decided he could make one just as good and has now made quite a few for me to sell.
During the week we were waiting for our grandchild to be born, I needed to occupy my hands and mind, so started handknitting with jumbo yarn, what fun! The house soon became full of handbags, pet beds and blankets for the baby.
My best friend for the last 48 years is also a talented silver smith and has for the last few years made jewellery for our stall but unfortunately, her full time job now dictates she does not have time, so I only have what is remaining of the stock she made.
Having such an eclectic mind, my stall is never dull and always has a choice of different items depending on what I/we have been making recently.
