I am a book-binder and printmaker often fusing these two areas of craft to create books and paper objects that are designed to be used, handled and displayed. I have developed my skills at Hot Bed Press in Salford, on the year-long book artist course and three years of the COmplete Printmaking course. I source handmade, ethical and printed paper from around the world and adapt the nature of objects made to the character of the paper. I have also studied traditional paper marbling and use this in the creation of book coverings, end-papers and 3-D objects such as baubles and boxes.
