Dusty Books is an independent small business dedicated to creating handmade notebooks and sketchbooks for artists and creatives of all kinds.
Each sketchbook is carefully hand bound using high-quality watercolour paper, available in both hot and cold pressed finishes—perfect for drawing, painting, and so much more. I cover every piece by hand using materials I find and love, with many featuring fabrics from Quarry Bank Mill, a beautiful National Trust site just down the road where we often enjoy walking the dog.
Alongside sketchbooks, I also create notebooks and journals designed for writers and note-takers. Available in blank, lined, and dotted formats, there’s something to suit every style—whether you’re jotting down ideas, drafting stories, or organising your thoughts.
My bookbinding journey began as a creative outlet and has grown into a small business built on passion, care, and attention to detail. Each piece is thoughtfully made, with a focus on quality materials and timeless design.
Alongside bookbinding, I enjoy exploring other crafts, including crochet, paper marbling, screen printing, and photography. I’m always drawn to processes that are hands-on and a little bit experimental—there’s something special about watching an idea come to life in a physical form.. These practices influence my work and allow me to bring texture, pattern, and individuality into each piece I create.
