Her portraits are filled with emotion and reflect the divine, authentic and vibrancy of black women. While exploring the chaotic nature of life through expressive mixed media. Texture is built through a variety of layers, creating a visual and tactile depth that mirrors the complexity and unpredictability of our existence.
Damaris’s Caribbean background inspires her bold colour palette and she also takes inspiration from African print and Abstract Art.
