After being made redundant in 2023, I started ceramics lessons and fell in love with clay. I set up my little home studio in the North East of England where all my ceramics are made. I am passionate about ceramics and love to spread the love of creative mud!
All of my items are made with love and passion with every detail, items that can be passed down your family for many generations, a gift to cherish for years and years.
They are slab, pinch and sculptured, using various clays and glazes. Some of my fairy houses take over 30 hours to make, fired in my kiln ‘Lucinda’ then glazed and then fired again meaning they can be displayed indoors or outdoors, just protect from frost. Handwash with care to protect the glaze. As with all handmade items there maybe imperfections, this adds to the uniqueness of the items.
It gives me the greatest amount of pleasure knowing that my little creation will be in your home.
