CallieBearCrafts was born after I suffered an accident on holiday, which caused a cervical herniated disc and sever whiplash. It meant that I could not sit or look down for long periods of time, so endless hours of watching TV started to numb my brain. Callie (my 5 year old golden retriever and emotional support dog) bravely went through it all with me. We spent A LOT of time on the internet and so the idea to try working with resin was incepted. My dad works with silver and my daughter is a designer (theatre set and costume), so I have a lot of creatives around me. But mostly it’s me and Callie. Experimenting, covering everything in glitter and having fun. Keeping each other sane (ish). Helen and Callie xxx
