Brooch Artist creates handmade felt brooches inspired by nature, colour and texture. Each piece is carefully crafted by hand using traditional needle felting techniques, making every brooch truly one of a kind.
I work slowly and intuitively with soft wool fibres, shaping and layering them by hand to form designs inspired by leaves, birds, flowers and organic natural forms. No moulds or machines are used — each brooch develops its own character during the making process, ensuring that no two pieces are ever exactly the same.
A distinctive element of my work is the use of repurposed metal zip edging, which gives structure, durability and a subtle decorative detail to every piece. This combination of soft felt and metal creates a lightweight yet strong accessory that is both playful and thoughtfully made.
