Alison creates decorative and functional ceramics, handbuilding her work often using raku clay. She enjoys incorporating natural materials, particularly driftwood, into her designs. Her work is inspired by both rural and seaside landscapes and often echoes the natural world and changing seasons. She enjoys exploring texture and colour within all her pieces. Her most recent work explores witty interpretations of well known English sayings and proverbs.
