My name is Janet Darcy, and I make individually styled children’s clothing for ages 1-8 years, trading as Tonia Rose Designs. Although I have been dressmaking for many years, it’s only in the last couple of years that I have branched into children’s clothing and it’s now my very favourite thing to do! I started out just making girls’ outfits, but by popular request I have recently added boys’ outfits, and these are proving to be just as popular. I've also added hats, bags and scrunchies to my stock which enables me to make good use of all pieces of fabric and therefore minimising waste. The name Tonia Rose is in loving memory of my dear late baby sister, ensuring her name is still in regular use, and there can be no better tribute to her than little girls (and now boys too) happily wearing the outfits I have created in her name. Most styles are available in a range of sizes and fabrics (subject to availability) and I'm very happy to take orders.
